Before you pick a modular home
A modular price is usually ex factory. Delivery, crane, footings, connections, approvals and the certifier are on top, and on a hard block the site side can cost as much as the home. Before you pay a deposit, check what's included, how far the maker delivers, who installs it and who signs as the builder. In Queensland the licensed contractor who installs the home pays the home warranty premium on the whole job, factory build included, so ask who that will be.
