Kit prices are for the kit. Labour, slab or footings, plumbing, electrical, approvals and freight are on top, and on a kit they usually cost more than the kit itself.
Southern states only
Prebuilt, Anchor Homes and MODE Homes build in Victoria and NSW and don't deliver to Queensland. Kiin by Modscape is VIC and NSW only for now. Archiblox lists Queensland but doesn't name who builds here.
Is modular actually affordable?
For a small backyard home, yes, it can be. For a full-size house, most companies that publish a price now start well over $390,000. Modular and kit prices are usually ex factory or kit only, so footings, crane, transport and connections sit on top. Price the site before you fall for the home. We install Outhaus and, on request, other makers' modular homes across South East Queensland, so we can price that part for you.
